The American Physical Society was founded on May 20, 1899, when 36 physicists gathered at Columbia University for that purpose. In 1913, the APS took over the operation of the Physical Review, which had been founded in 1893 at Cornell, and journal publication became its second major activity. EPWRF India Time Series is an interactive online database on the Indian economy and society, developed and maintained by Economic & Political Weekly Research Foundation (EPWRF). The database provides time series data, structured in 29 subject modules; several of these modules have state level data, and data relating to the rural sector. The data has been collated from secondary sources, such as publications of government ministries/departments and Reserve Bank of India. Web of Science, provides access to the world's leading citation databases. It searches over 10,000 journals from over 45 different languages across the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities with back files to 1900. The citations (or footnotes) allow one to navigate forward, backward, and through journal articles and both journal and book-based proceedings. Its Analyze Tool also helps in finding hidden trends and patterns, gain insight into emerging fields of research, identify leading researchers, institutions, and journals, and trace the history of a particular field of study.
